LAWYERS IN THE MEDO-PERSIAN EMPIRE TRIED TO ASSASSINATE PRESIDENT DANIEL BY CONDEMNING HIM TO A DEN OF LIONS BECAUSE HE WAS AN HONEST MAN AND PRAYED 3 TIMES A DAY! |
Daniel is mostly famous as the great Prophet who correctly interpreted the dream of the tyrannical King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. That Prophet also predicted that the Messiah would be manifested to Israel exactly 483 years after the end of the Babylonian Captivity. Daniel also predicted the destruction of Jerusalem, and the total extinction of the royal seed or progeny of King David.
The handwriting on the wall announced the fall of the Babylonian Empire. |

Darius the Great
(522 BC – 457 BC). |
To crown his most distinguished career in the Babylonian Empire, Daniel was also promoted to the position of PRESIDENT—the most exalted position next to the Emperor himself.
It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole realm, and over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give account unto them and the king should have no damage (Daniel 6:1-2, King James Version).
After the Emperor set Daniel over the whole realm, the LAWYERS were insanely jealous and assembled together to plan his assassination:
Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him (Daniel 6:5).
In the Babylonian Empire, the Emperor's word was LAW, but the Medes and Persians had a written code that even the Emperor could not invalidate.
The shrewd LAWYERS had the Emperor sign a decree that almost destroyed President Daniel. |
|
Just as the lawyers expected, President Daniel ignored the law, and continued praying 3 times a day. |
Most of the other people in the Empire just suspended their praying until the law expired in 30 days. Not President Daniel, he remained faithful to JEHOVOH, and went to his house 3 times a day to pray. The lawyers had their spies watching his house, and as soon as he appeared praying, they ran to report him to their lawyer bosses.
JEHOVAH sent his angel and closed the mouths of the lions. |

In the morning, the Emperor was overjoyed to find his President still alive. |
The Emperor spent a sleepless night, and first thing in the morning he went speedily to the den of lions to see if President Daniel was still alive:
Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him. Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, "O Daniel, servant of the living Elohim, is thy Elohim, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?" (Daniel 6:18-20).
Imagine the joy of Emperor Darius when he went to the mouth of the den and found his President still alive and well:
Then said Daniel unto the king, "O king, live for ever. My Elohim hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt." Then was the king exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in Elohim (Daniel 6:18-23). .
Emperor Darius ordered that President Daniel be taken up immediately out of the den of lions and the lawyers that accused him were to be a feast for the hungary beasts.
The lawyers that accused President Daniel became lion chow!
The story of President Daniel in the lions' den had a very happy ending because all the lawyers who accused President Daniel were thrown into the den of lions:
And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den (Daniel 6: 24).
Those lawyers did die horribly, and went immediately to Hades. However, the demons controlling them from the inside just left and went in search of new lawyers to possess.
With the guilty lawyers all dead, the Emperor made another law that countermanded the previous corrupt law:
I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the Elohim of Daniel: for he is the living Elohim, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end. He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions (Daniel 6:26-27).
Emperor Darius was killed in battle, and he was succeeded by Cyrus the Great, who gave permission for the Jews to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the Temple.
Sir Thomas More is the "patron saint" of lawyers!
On October 31, 2000, Pope John Paul II declared Sir Thomas More the "patron saint" of lawyers. That was meant to encourage lawyers to emulate that bitter persecutor of Christians.
Sir Thomas More
(1478–1535). |
|
Saint William Tyndale (1494–1536). |
More was a direct spiritual descendant of the lawyers who condemned President Daniel to the lions' den.
Incredibly, in the country founded by the spiritual descendents of President Daniel, a bunch of lawyers actually banned prayer in the public schools.
Chief Justice Earl Warren (1891–1974). |
|
Justice William Brennan (1906–1997). |
The justices had no time to study the succession clause in the Constitution to determine if the Vice President really does become President. That "oversight" by the justices almost led to the breakup of the country just a year later when Lyndon Johnson assassinated President Kennedy.
Based on the plain language of the Holy Scriptures, those men followed their exemplars into Hades when they went to meet their final JUDGE.
The Vice Presidency is a lawyer concocted scam to destroy the Presidency!
The Vice Presidency, with 2 men on the same ballot is a scam of the lawyers, by the lawyers and for the lawyers. The wording in the Constitution of the succession DEVOLVING on the Vice President was so obscure and nebulous that the lawyers LOVED it.

The next deadly duo was Father Abraham and Andrew Johnson. Johnson was a Democrat and pro-slavery but he ended up as Lincoln's Vice President.
The position of Vice President has always been an invitation for an ambitious man to steal the Presidency. Teddy Roosevelt became a "war hero" by riding up San Juan Hill and that was enough propaganda to hand him the Vice Presidency.

In a court of law, only 2 or 3 witnesses are required to prove a case beyond all reasonable doubt. 8 Presidents have been assassinated, and 8 Vice Presidents have usurped the Presidency. No further witnesses are required.
Since the passage of the 25th or Rockefeller Amendment in 1967, it just makes the Presidency a more tempting target for the Vice President. Some Vice Presidents, like Richard Nixon, were honest men, but the temptation to seize power is inherent in that lawyer concocted scam called the Vice Presidency.
