AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN TOLD THE WOMEN AT THE TOMB
TO SEE THE PLACE WHERE JEHOVAH LAY!! |
Saint Paul said that the Resurrection of the Messiah was the very foundation of the Christian Faith:
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (I Corinthians 15:1-3).
According to the Gospel he preached, belief in the bodily Resurrection of Christ determined whether a person went to heaven . . . or Hades!
The Scriptures leave no doubt as to the location of that miraculous, world-changing event....At the first of the Sabbaths, a mighty angel descended from heaven and rolled back the stone that was guarding the tomb where the Messiah lay.
Now after the Sabbaths, as is began to dawn toward the first of the Sabbaths, Miriam Magdalene and the other Miriam came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of JEHOVAH descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the soldiers trembled for fear of him, and became like dead men (Saint Matthew 28:2:4).
The word WEEK is never used in the Greek New Covenant because the official week of the Roman Empire consisted of 8 days. The Hebrews were unique in having a 7-day week. The day of the Resurrection was called the First of the Sabbaths to distinguish it from the 7th day Hebrew Sabbath.
As a concession to the Christians, Emperor Jesus Constantine made the 7-day week mandatory throughout the Roman Empire...It is farcical when the Edomites boast of keeping the "Jewish Sabbath" because the 7-day week and the weekly Sabbath were preserved by the early Christians who won the battle against paganism!
There were 2 Sabbaths during Passover-Resurrection week: The crucifixion took place at the Passover on Wednesday. The following day, the first day of the 7-day Feast of Unleavened Bread, was also called a Sabbath. Then the regular weekly Sabbath on the day we now called Saturday. A new or third Christian Sabbath was added which is now misnamed SUNDAY.
But the angel answered and said to the women, “do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Joshua who was crucified. He is not here; for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where JEHOVAH lay. And go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead, and indeed he is going before you into Galilee; there you will see him. Behold, I have told you.” (Saint Matthew 28:5, Saint Mark 16:6).
Like George Washington, angels cannot tell a lie, so the angel told the women to look and see the Empty Tomb!

The Al-Aqusa mosque is located just south of the Dome of the Dome. It is located at the site of the great Temple destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD.
The Al-Aqsa mosque is located on the site of the former Temple. Golgotha is located almost straight across the Kidron Valley. |
The Kidron Valley separates the Dome of the Rock and the former Temple site from the Mount of Olives. The Roman soldiers at Golgotha had a clear view of the massive Temple curtain ripping from top to bottom (Saint Matthew 27:51, Saint Luke 23:47).
Thanks to the Crusaders, a mosque has obscured the Resurrection site since 1187. Before it was a mosque, the Resurrection site was an empty cave, but it was the most sacred spot in the world for all true Christians! |
The Hebrew word Golgotha means HEAD, but the Latin Vulgate translation changed it to CALVARY . . . which means SKULL in Latin.... A skull is an empty head!
The "holy fake" Church of the "Holy Sepulchre," located in Old Jerusalem, is also used to obscure the true site of the Resurrection of the Messiah!
The Jewish sacred calendar began at the Exodus from Egypt, and the Christians began their new calendar at the time of the Resurrection of Christ. The Muslim lunar calendar does not begin until over 600 years later.
