Dr. Wylie's book was published in 1886. It disappeared from off the face of the earth at the turn of the century. Even the copy in the Library of Congress was stolen. We are confident that if the book had remained in general circulation they would be no divided Ireland today!!

A true knowledge of history is critical. . . . Rome has poisoned the wells of history, and multitudes of all lands have drunk that contaminated water. When you are sick physically  the first question the doctor asks is about your medical history in order to effect a cure. The same is true in a spiritual sense. . . . Woe unto the people whose historians are their enemies!!

Ireland was always the true home of the Scots. The name of the country was changed around 1200 A.D. St. Patrick in his "Confession" mentions the sons of the Scotti and the daughters of the chieftains, especially one blessed Irish princess that he baptized (una benedicta Scota)!! All writers up to the 12th century refer to the inhabitants of Hibernia as the Scottish Tribes.

Brian Boru (930—1014) High King of Ireland and victor over the Vikings at Clontarf has his name inscribed in the Book of Armagh as imperatoris Scotorum that is: Emperor of the Scots.

In the year 1150, a famous book was written by Christian Malone, Abbot of Clonmacnoise, entitled Chronicum Scotorum. It is a chronology of Ireland from the Flood to the 12th century.  

The Scotland of today was then called Caledonia or Alban and was inhabited by a people called Picts. When God's chosen people were taken captive to Babylon in the Old Testament, the first thing the King of Babylon did was to change their names!!

St. Patrick is the Apostle of the Scots—on both sides of the Irish Channel. Both people fought the same enemies for centuries—Vikings, Danes, Anglo-Normans etc., etc. Jesus said that the gates of hell would not prevail against the true church and we find remnants of the Gaelic Church surviving right down to the Reformation.

Dr. Wylie takes us back to the second beginning of humanity—to the very days of Noah. Evolution is completely disproved. Mankind come from the mountains of Ararat in present day Turkey. The Scots have not changed in 2000 years. Papal Rome has not changed one iota from Pagan Rome. She is still as bloodthirsty and eager to conquer the kingdoms of this world as she was when she faced off against the Caledonians. Today she is using the Pentagon to conquer the Greek Church, just as she used the Vikings and Anglo-Normans to destroy the Gaelic Church.

After the fall of Rome, the British Isles became the most important area in the world. It was there that the battle between good and evil was fought for centuries. Reading this History is like reading the Old Testament with the constant battles and strife.

The average size of each chapter is 6 pages or 20K. Page numbers have been omitted and footnotes appear at the end of each chapter.

Editor's Note

In the Book of Revelation chapter 12, Jesus said that His true church would have to flee into the wilderness and the Dragon would persecute and try to totally exterminate her. For a person living in the Roman Empire, the wilderness was Caledonia and Hibernia—lands totally unconquered by Pagan Rome. Papal Rome did send armada after armada, Vikings, Danes, Anglo-Normans etc., etc, but just as He promised:

"I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it".
(Matt. 16:18).
